Ah The Weather Man Was Right!!!!
This morning I pulled my suv out of the garage, it was 70 degrees outside. while I was watching tv earlier the weather man had reported that the weather would be changing rapidly and by tonight it would be in the mid to upper twenties. Well I took my heavy coat just in case the weather man was right. To my surprise the weather in Oklahoma city had reached a chilly, cloudy and windy 33 degrees by noon and by the time I left work at 4:00pm cst it was a chilling 29 degrees. It was dry outside but the weather man had predicted a cold icy night with temperatures in the low twenties. I went home changed into my warm sweats and settled down to watch the news. I must have dozed off into a very sound sleep because the next thing I remember was being awaken by the sounds of ice hitting my window. I hurried to the window to look out. It was black dark but you could hear the sound of the wind and icy rain hitting the trees, the grass and the house. The street and grass glistened from the icy rain. I got my camera, went into the garage and opened the door. I smiled as I walked down the drive way taking pictures of our first winter mix. I thought to myself AH The weatherman was right!

Well now we have six or seven inches of snow and I spent the day reading, writing and watching the snow from my window.
